Banteay Samre is a Hindu temple built in the early 12th century by the kings Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in Angkor, Cambodia, located 400 meters east of East Baray. Banteay Samre resembles a miniature replica of Angkor Wat. It is believed that Banteay Samre is dedicated to the god Vishnu.
Beng Mealea Temple is an Angkor Wat-era temple (118–119 AD), located 40 km east of the main Angkor temple complex in Cambodia, on the ancient royal road leading to Preah Khan Kompong Svay. This "forest" temple was built on an ancient road and was an important temple in the history of the Khmer Empire. Today, much of the temple remains in ruins and is almost completely covered by dense forest.
